Make sure to visit the Chromosphere website at www.chromosphere.4t.com.

A Real Chromosphere

What is a "chromosphere" anyway? Well, if you look just to the left here, you'll see. It's the outer portion of the sun where many small, transient spurts (or jets) of gas are ejected to heights reaching 10,000 miles from the low chromosphere. The temperature of the chromosphere increases with the distance outwards to 20,000 degrees Celcius. But, don't look directly at it without safety glasses or some sort of shielding for your eyes for long periods of time.

Bill Huston Talks about the Dark Ages

Why were they really called the Dark Ages? Bill Huston explains.
